Black & White Phone Pics
Sorry for the photo overload these days.. but I can't get over how semi-great phone pics are on the Samsung Galaxy. I never preferred an Iphone, mostly because I like having a larger screen for media purposes and the Galaxy had all the same app/email/organization features as the Iphone.
I'm not saying my phone is the only one that can produce great images..but will say it eliminates the need to purchase a digital camera. I currently use an average Dsl Nikon and my Galaxy for all the pictures I take and have been pleased thus far, but for sure would like to upgrade to a nicer Dsl in the next year (along with a few lens options for portrait/documentary/editorial shots). Excited to get going with a few editing workshops, and learn various uses of lighting in the next couple months. Hoping to bring better quality and able to really transition this hobby into a side business sometime soon (fingers crossed).
Life is so beautiful.. and miracle moments are so heart wrenching that they ought to be captured and remembered for years to come.
My dad was big into video taping our big (and little) moments we cherished when I was younger, but sometimes I wish I could just stare at those moments in a photo album or scrapbook. Moments that break me down and make me thank God for providing such a loving father for those amazing years he was alive.
Photos can never be retaken and time is always fleeting. I am passionate about keeping those memories alive through photography and letting others share in the making of memories too.
Here are some shots (from my phone) while spending some time outside today. The babes were taking in the smells of spring coming and heard all the birds chirping. I wonder (occasionally) what their little minds think of nature. I wonder if the wind gives them joy, sky makes them curious and the trees swaying makes them nervous or possibly afraid. These are all feelings that such innocent minds must have. Or do they simply think all is well in this crazy world we live in..either way..I love experiencing it from time to time with them.
