Taste & Tell: Fresh Guac!

As my boyfriend would say ..I'm half mexican and half italian. I could probably live off quesadillas and have a love for chips and queso like no other. So, inevitably, I wanted to embark on making my own guacamole. I have made it several times with friends and groups of people but never solely on my own..which is why I also felt the need to make it perfectly the way I like.

I only used 3 avocados, a dollop of salsa, chopped peppers, lemon zest, chopped onions, chopped tomatoes, sea salt and some fresh herb seasoning. Mixed everything together and let it chill for about 10 minutes before serving.. (I love it cold). I didn't add any cilantro because absolutely hate it! I also didn't have limes..so lemon zest had to work instead.

This was one super easy appetizer (serves probably a party of 4). I am planning on making mango style salsa in the near future because it pairs nicely with a fresh margarita and my homemade guac! Enjoy!
