Family: Meeting Baby Brother & Sister

I never posted many photos from the day the twins were born, mostly because I was to enthralled by their beauty, health, gestures and small characteristics that made each one individually perfection. They melted my heart into a puddle I so vividly remember the day sweet Ellerie was born.  A year ago (or so) I remember my sister yearning for Ellerie to have a sibling when Elle was a little over 1 or so. Then Seeing my step-sisters get pregnant quickly with beautiful growing bumps definitely gave a small amount of baby fever inside her..and for good reason! Many many months later she found out she was having not only one but TWO babies and all our hearts exploded. She had prayed for so long and God answered. It took patience, dismay, a positive attitude and a gracious heart and she bestowed all those qualities and more. God has the perfect timing and will place just what we need in our lives when He sees it fit.  I look up to my sister in numerous ways and honestly I  was not always sure that would be the case. Sometimes I stare at the mom/sister/wife/friend/cousin/aunt she is..and all I can think of is how proud I am of all she has become..all she has molded into. Xoxo dear sister! Here are a few black and white photos from the first day of the twins being born (actually just a few hours after!). They are not the best quality but oh well!
