3 Things: This Week
1. As many of you (who follow my Insta and Facebook) know that my beautiful sister, Laura, gave birth to healthy boy and girl twins Tuesday March 3, 2015! Aven Noelle and Asher David were both a little over 5 lbs. and are complete snuggle bugs already! Big sis Ellerie is so in love with them and can't wait to teach them both all she knows (including dancing, number and what colors are what ..she is too cute). I am so thankful always for family through both good and bad times. I would be lying if I said this journey of combining two families was easy and effortless. We have worked hard to learn about each other and become a unit of one ..which I think is probably the case for any 2 families joining together. We sure have a ton to offer each other through different experiences, ages, work and our own personalities. I love them all! This weekend I will be visiting the twins again and boy that could not get here soon enough!
2. I am recently looking for a new job & will be doing some part-time nanny work as I figure out my next avenue! I am always doing minor photography work on the side so that will continue to be a hobby along with blogging. Please keep me in mind if you know of anyone looking for a stylist/photographer/media coordinator/website manager..I have majority of my sample work on this site along with my contact information. I also have some advertising samples so check it all out! Spring is the season for changes, renewal and regrowth so I am excited for what's next!
3. Brody finally got a haircut and I am about to move! Okay yes I am aware those do not correlate but figured I'd share both. Brody looks like a teddy bear (if you can imagine) and far from the messy furball he has been for weeks. I feel bad it took me so long to arrange an appointment for the little fella but snow put a damper on many tasks I had planned for February. Lets hope March decides to embrace warm weather and show some pretty blossoms (I would love a break from cold, dreary days). On another positive note I have found an adorable condo I hope to be moving into mid March. It has so much character with hardwoods, and the cutest covered patio. I think it will be a brighter more cheery atmosphere which I desperately need. I also look forward to planting in my own little backyard area soon!
Hope you all are having a warm fun-filled week! Mine has been an absolute roller-coaster but sometimes that is just what we need for a more successful future. God gives us only what we can handle and puts us on a better path when requested. Ready to start a new chapter here in my mid-twenties..25 you are already giving me surprises left and right!
