I will go ahead and apologize for my absence in this space the past couple weeks as I have not felt the best and holidays festivities have been underway. The blog is still getting a revamp (which has been in the works) along with some new categories and featuring some topics/items for both men and women. My goal is to have it all ready for the New Year and hope you find this space a place to get ideas, be inspired and share thoughts on different subjects. I will still be featuring a slew of styled pieces for you to shop and peruse as well as fresh recipes to try for yourself and little/big life moments in the mix! SO on that note....here's 3 things!
1. Flats and boots are probably the 2 types of shoes I go back and forth with each day. I love over the knee boots especially with bulky sweaters and skinnies yet same goes for a fun pair of flats with bold prints. Usually I find most my flats at places like Marshalls, DSW, Nordstrom Rack and online shops. Always looking for deals and steals but of course quality plays a big role to as well as versatility. I'm never purchasing shoes with one distinct look in mind but rather a pair that functions with a few looks, dressy or casual. Leopard has always been a print that seems to work with almost anything. They offer a little character to your ensemble when wearing solids or neutrals. These ones I have on below are Report and were such a deal! I love Report shoes because they are really comfy/cute and well made without breaking the bank. Add some leopard to your life and a little spunk to those holidays outfits on hand!
2. Rosie is so loved and she had the absolute best behavior over Thanksgiving with 9 little ones running around! She would go and kiss each one of those sweet bubs, play chase, be a cuddle partner and always ready for a good pet on the head. I was very proud of my little fur baby and all she has become the past year of us having her. We adopted her from Halfway There Rescue (be sure to check out their insta for the latest adoption fairs and newest furry babes) and have loved her ever since the day we laid eyes on her. Hard to believe she literally fit snug in my palms and now is a 40 pounder but I wouldnt change one thing about her.
Sweater is Old Navy // Beanie is Marshalls // Jeans are Old Navy // Jeweled top is Jcrew // Shoes are DSW
3. We head to Pennsylvania for Christmas this year on the 23rd and I cannot wait to spend time with Corey's Grandparents and extended family. I have never been up there before so this will be a new little holiday venture. We have decided to start the every other year gig with our families so that we are able to dedicate time with one family each Christmas rather than hopping all around (which seems exhausting). One thing is for sure I cannot wait to have this pizza from his hometown...they bake it and you can keep it for like weeks and munch away #YASSS. I'll probably share bits and pieces of our trip via insta stories if you follow along and share the memories we begin to make as husband and wife through the holiday seasons. I also have begun packing and realizing it is a tad hard to fit all my stuff into a carry-on bag--so wish me luck as i cram all this into that little leopard bag. I will also share a few of these items below if you want to shop any of them!
